Sweet Heat Jams are clean, simple, delicious jams blended with just the right amount of jalapeños. Sweet Heat Jams are known as the Jams with attitude… Texas Attitude that is! Sweet Heat Jams are created with a purpose; To bring the world of entrepreneurship, culinary arts and education together to provide unique opportunities for exceptional adults who desire to live, work and dream beyond their (dis)abilities.

Nolan is the creator of SWEET HEAT JAM and has built a microenterprise as a result! He, along with 4 other full-time employees, wash, cut and measure every ingredient, and pour every jar of jam. In addition, a culinary program was started to help other young adults with intellectual disabilities have the experience of learning the workings of a jam company. From its humble beginnings, the team now produces over 5,000 jars of jam a year. In 2014, Sweet Heat Jam was a finalist in the HEB Quest for Texas Best and in 2016 Nolan was selected as one of the Top Ten People in Katy, Texas.  

Our jams are made from natural, local ingredients.  The ingredients in each of jams are listed on every jar. No preservatives, no added chemicals or colors – just pure real food.

Gluten-free. Chemical-free. Vegan. Fat-free. No preservatives, additives or colorings.

Sweet Heat Jams are truly made one small batch at a time. All the fruits and peppers are hand cut and perfectly blended for outstanding taste and flavor. Our “small batch” jams means just that; only about 6 – 9 jars per batch.

Our sweet and spicy flavor profiles can be used on both savory and sweet dishes. Use the jams straight out of the jar as a great appetizer with cream cheese or as a finishing glaze for your grilled meats.

If used when roasting or grilling, spread it on at the tail end of your cook time to create a perfect glaze .

We do! Our gift sets contain 3 of our 4 oz jams boxed with a jam spoon and an insert card that shares the story behind Sweet Heat Jams and how your purchase is making a difference in the lives of those with special needs. Also included is a gift tag where you can personalize your message. Just check the “gift card” box during check out and fill out the message field. We will send it directly to your gift recipient. You will receive email notifications concerning your online order via our purchasing system, however, should you have any additional questions or concerns please email us at info@sweetheatjam.com.

We handcraft and pack each Sweet Heat Jam item with the hope that you love your purchase. If, however, you are not satisfied with your product, please let us know and we will be happy to refund you or rectify the problem. We do ask that you share with us your concerns so we can become better at we do.

Once we receive your order, we work on getting it fulfilled. We will let you know if we are delayed and shipments are usually sent out 3 - 5 business days from when the order is received. All shipments are sent by UPS or USPS and we send you the link to track your orders.
